RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reports to:  Head of Engineering Department

Based at:  Depends on project location (Frequent travel to provinces nationwide) OR East Timor

Job purpose:  To lead and manage the project’s field operation in accordance to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Standard.

Main duties:

  • Supervising the company’s field operations and resources
  • Planning and verifying Field Sampling and Tests
  • Implementing the Occupational Health and Safety program
  • Logging of samples/test results
  • Briefing all field personnel with regards to the project
  • Facilitating the preparation, purchase, and repair of field materials and equipment
  • Managing and reporting expenses, accomplishments, and attendance
  • Writing project correspondence
  • Processing field change orders
  • Participating in project and employee evaluations
  • Other relevant field tasks

Scale and territory indicators:   Residential to multi-billion peso infrastructure projects all over the Philippines.  Opportunity to work in East Timor and/or Papua New Guinea.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Civil Engineering or higher
  • PRC Civil Engineer License 
  • Preferably 0-4 years experience in Engineering - Geotechnical/Geological/Civil or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of Field Tests and Laboratory Tests offered by the company
  • Skill in common Computer Applications
  • Fluent in Tagalog and English (Oral and Written)
  • Driver's license/Passport holder preferred
